Siliguri, 23rd May: The Rashtriya Sevika Samiti donated a steam machine for the treatment of coronavirus patients at the Safe Home in the Indoor Stadium. Shanta Paul, a member of the organization, said that this initiative has been taken so that the patients will be able to take steam and fight the virus. It is to recall, the organization also provided food items to the COVID-19 patients last year.
Safe House Dr SP Dey appreciated the initiative. He said that many people are coming to the safe home only after their oxygen level drops significantly making it difficult for the medical team to save them. He further urged the people to seek medical help before things get worse.
