Siliguri, 01st June: Ranjan Sarkar, the former Opposition leader of Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC), raised voice against the unethical recruitment of party workers in the newly formed Board Of Administrators (BoA) of SMC.
Sarkar stated that instead of providing a hike in the salaries of the workers who are on the frontline combating the pandemic, the present governing body has unethically appointed 20 party workers. He further stated that such immoral acts cannot be accepted and they will demand the state government to provide a written intervention in this regard.
