Siliguri, 18th June: The untimely demise of Ashish Dey, a guard of Kanchanjungha Express, has cast an atmosphere grief after his tragic death in the Rangapani train accident while on duty.
According to reports, Ashish Dey, a resident of Sukantapally in Ward No. 32, Siliguri, had recently spent a vacation with his family. However, on Monday, Ashish, originally assigned to duty on the Shatabdi Express, had switched to Kanchanjungha Express for personal reasons.
In a tragic turn of events, Ashish encountered his tragic demise while the news left his family in mourning. In this regard, Councilor Tapas Chatterjee of Ward No. 32 expressed his sorrow over the tragic demise.
