Siliguri, 20th June: In the aftermath of the tragic train accident in Rangapani, Manu Kumar, the injured assistant loco pilot of the Kanchanjunga Express is still undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Siliguri. Amidst this, Kumar’s mother, Draupadi has voiced her frustration to have being denied any visits to her injured son.
According to reports, the deceased loco-pilot and his injured assistant have been held responsible for the mishap ever since the incident. However, no conclusive reports proved that their actions contributed to the tragic event.
In the meantime, the injured assistant loco-pilot’s mother Draupadi voiced her concerns outside the hospital on Thursday. She further expressed that she has been repeatedly prevented from meeting her son while asserting her son’s innocence in connection to the tragic incident.
