Dhupguri, 6th January: The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) and Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) staged a protest in Dhupguri against the attack on the students of JNU in Delhi and in support of the All-India strike to be held on January 8.
The rally commenced in front of the Bairatiguri High School and visited various parts of the city. The rally was held under the leadership of SFI leader Soma Mandal, Karishma Chowdhury, CPI(M) former MLA Mamata Roy, Vidhu Shil and many more dignitaries.
A public meeting was held at the Gairkata Bus stand after the rally concluded.
