Siliguri, 15th June: Raju Bista has secured his position as MP from Darjeeling for a second term following the recent Lok Sabha elections. In celebration and to express gratitude to the city’s residents, the BJP organized a grand thanksgiving procession on Saturday.
The procession commenced from Hashmi Chowk and saw MP Raju Bista traveling in an open-top car, making his way through various routes including Hill Cart Road, Sevoke Road, and Bidhan Road. Throughout the procession, Bista extended his heartfelt thanks to the people of Siliguri.
The event was attended by prominent BJP figures including Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh, Matigara Naxalbari MLA Anandamoy Barman, SMC BJP Councilors, as well as other BJP leaders, workers, and supporters.
