Siliguri, 30th May: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista visited North Bengal Medical College and Hospital today and handed over oxygen concentrator and masks to the superintendent. The initiative was taken to celebrate the seven-year tenure of the BJP government at the Center. He was accompanied by BJP MLAs.
Addressing the media, Raju Bista said that no celebration should be held amid the pandemic. Hence, oxygen concentrators and masks were provided. In total, equipment worth around 1 crore rupees has been handed over to the authorities of several hospitals in the Darjeeling district at different times. The MP further said that two lakh masks have been handed over today.
