Rajganj, 18th August: The Rajganj Police Station organized a blood donation camp along with a free health check-up camp. The event was conducted in collaboration with the Lions Club of Siliguri Terai Shakti. Local residents, along with police personnel and civic volunteers, participated in the blood donation drive.
The camp was inaugurated by Jalpaiguri District Police Superintendent Umesh Ganpat Khandbahale and Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy. In addition to the blood donation camp, the event included the inauguration of CCTV cameras at the police station and a tree-plantation drive within the police station premises.
According to police sources, the blood donation camp was initiated with the aim of collecting 250 units of blood.
