Rajganj, 30th December: A voluntary blood donation camp was organized at the initiative of Rajganj police station on Wednesday. Police officials, police personnel, and civic volunteers donated blood in the camp. Around 50 units of blood were collected today.
The police officials said that a blood crisis has been reported in different hospitals amid the pandemic. Therefore, such an initiative was taken. Police officials and civic volunteers donated blood during the camp. The collected blood will be deposited in the blood bank of Jalpaiguri district hospital.
CI Sadar Dipajjal Bhowmik, Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy, Rajganj Police official Prabir Dutta and other police officials were present at the camp.
