Rajganj, 08th July: The Rajganj police arrested two men on the charge of illegally storing ration items. The arrested accused have been identified as Milan Das (40) and Jugal Das (30), residents of Rajganj Patharghata.
It has been learned that the police, acting on a tip-off, raided their residences on Thursday early morning and recovered 42 sacks of ration items including wheat and flour. According to Police sources, the duo was involved in this illegal business for a long time.
In this regard, the IC of Rajganj Police Station Pankaj Sarkar said that the duo have been arrested with a huge quantity of ration items. They were sent to court. District Enforcement Branch has started an investigation into the incident.
