Rajganj, 19th April: For the past few days, the rising temperatures have become a growing concern for people, as the scorching June-like heat has descended upon the month of April, making conditions unbearable. In response to the heatwave, Rajganj police provided drivers with cool drinking water infused with glucose, offering much-needed relief from the oppressive heat.
Today, drivers along the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway at Hathi More were provided with cold water infused with glucose under the joint auspices of Rajganj Police and Rajganj Traffic Police. This initiative aimed to offer much-needed relief to drivers amidst scorching temperatures.
