Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy lays foundation for multiple development works under ‘Amader Para, Amader Samadhan’ scheme

Rajganj, 07th February: Several development projects were formally launched under the ‘Amader Para, Amader Samadhan’ scheme on Saturday, with Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy laying the foundation stones across four gram panchayat areas in the Rajganj block.


The foundation-laying ceremonies were held separately in Shikarpur, Panikauri, Majhiali and Sukhani gram panchayets. According to sources, development works worth around Rs 9 crore will be undertaken in these areas.

Based on proposals submitted by local residents, the projects include construction and repair of roads, drinking water supply, drainage systems, installation of street lights and several other public welfare works aimed at improving civic infrastructure.


The programmes were attended by Rajganj Panchayat Samiti Sabhapati Rupali Dey Sarkar, member Sarbani Dhara, BDO Sourabh Kanti Mandal, gram panchayat pradhans Prabha Kujur, Papiya Sarkar, Parimal Roy and Sumit Dutta, along with social worker Arindam Banerjee and other elected representatives and administrative officials.
