Rajganj, 21st June: Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy informed that Trinamool Congress (TMC) is likely to start campaigning for the next assembly elections right after the announcement of the new TMC Rajganj Block President.
As per the information, Khageshwar Roy, on Sunday, held a meeting at the Shikarpur Gram Panchayat office along with the new Block President Laikkho Mohan Roy and other workers. A minute of silence was also observed in the memory of the late Indian soldiers who were martyred at Galwan Valley in Ladakh.
Addressing the media after the meeting, MLA Khageshwar Roy stated that they will campaign for the forthcoming assembly elections under the instructions of the party supremo Mamata Banerjee. He claimed the party to be ready to retaliate against the propaganda being circulated on behalf of the BJP activists. The MLA further maintained that the meeting was held to fix the campaign tactics.
