Rajganj, 24th June: Apart from distributing cooked food among the needy, Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy inaugurated the party office of Pankauri Region Trinamool Congress Committee at Fatapukur. Besides, several people left other parties and joined TMC.
On Thursday, under the initiative of Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy and Pankauri Anchal TMC Committee, cooked food was handed over to around 1000 needy people. Later, he also handed over the party flag to 69 activists who had left CPIM and BJP.
Apart from Roy, Gram Panchayat Pradhan Alok Roy, Trinamool leaders Mosharraf Hossain, Amal Kuri, Sheikh Omar Farooq, Arindam Bandyopadhyay, and other local TMC leaders were present at the programme.
