Rajganj, 31st December: On his 73rd birthday, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy uniquely celebrated the occasion, spending time with children with special needs. On December 31, the MLA visited the Howrah South Point Handicapped Children Home in Bakhoyabari, Rajganj.
Reportedly, the MLA cut a birthday cake and later distributed blankets, food items, and other essentials to the children. The event brought smiles to the faces of the children, making it a memorable birthday celebration for Roy.
In this regard, MLA Khageswar Roy shared that he had celebrated his birthday in various ways over the years. However, he had always wanted to celebrate with these children.
Several dignitaries attended the event, including Rupali Dey Sarkar, President of the Rajganj Panchayat Samiti, TMC Block President Arindam Bandyopadhyay, and Binnaguri Gram Panchayat Pradhan Samijuddin Ahmed.
