Rajganj, 27th January: Panic gripped Purba Haricharan Vita in Rajganj after miscreants attacked a local residence during the night, leaving the family terrified.
The resident, Monoranjan Das, a daily wage worker, reportedly has no personal disputes and is not affiliated with any political party. Late Monday night, several attackers stormed his house, assaulting it with sharp weapons and hurling bricks and stones for an extended period. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
The incident has left Das and his family mentally shaken. Speaking about the attack, he said, “I don’t know who carried out this attack. Suddenly, they attacked my house. Bricks and stones were thrown. I have no idea who did it.”
