Rajganj, 28th May: In a shocking incident, a man disappeared under mysterious circumstances while returning home from out of the state to cast his vote. The individual has been identified as 54-year-old Sunil Oraon, a resident of Garadhura in Gadheyagach under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of the Rajganj block.
Family sources reported that Sunil Oraon had left for a different state to work as a labourer under a contractor with several others from his locality. Later, Sunil and two others were to return to their hometown to cast their vote two days ahead of the Lok Sabha elections on April 19. However, while the others returned home safely, Sunil Oraon went missing.
Following failed efforts to locate Sunil, his family lodged a missing complaint at the Ambari Outpost. However, Sunil Oraon could not be traced even days after the incident, leaving the family distressed.
