Rajganj, 02nd June: The auspicious occasion of the 134th ‘Tirodhan Diwas’ of Lokenath Brahmachari is being observed across various locations, including parts of Rajganj, on Sunday. Devotees are seen gathered to participate in the prayer at the Aakrigachh Banabhasa Adi Lokenath Mandir Committee and the Aakrigachh Lokenath Mission in Rajganj block.
In this regard, Bhavatosh Dutta, Secretary of the Aakrigachh Banabhasa Adi Lokenath Mandir Committee, expressed elation about the week-long festivities. He shared that the event has entered its 41st year, and a significant participation of locals and devotees from far away can be witnessed. The event comprised pujas, baul songs, and the distribution of clothes to 50 underprivileged individuals.
Simultaneously, at the Aakrigachh Lokenath Mission, devotees are marking the 22nd year of their observance of the event. The mission resonated with prayers and devotion since morning as devotees gathered to seek blessings. Additionally, food offerings have been arranged for the devotees.
