On Saturday, Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose directed that the gates of Raj Bhavan in Kolkata be opened from noon till 2 p.m. for the public to enter and watch the ICC Cricket World Cup Match between India and South Africa on a big screen. The match is scheduled to be played at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata from 2 p.m. on Sunday.
As per reports, the move came after several cricket fans approached the Raj Bhavan with grievances of being unable to get tickets at an affordable price for the much-awaited World Cup match.
