The Railway Department has taken proactive steps to ensure the safety of this key railway station in Northeast India during the Republic Day celebrations. Several measures have been put in place to enhance security.
On Wednesday, railway officials conducted a meeting to review the security protocols. The meeting was attended by railway employees along with other stakeholders involved in railway operations. Clear instructions were given to ensure no lapses occur in security.
Railway Police officer Surendra Singh emphasized that the meeting involved discussions with railway staff and other personnel connected to the station to strengthen security efforts. Everyone has been urged to cooperate in maintaining a secure environment at NJP station.
