Cooch Behar, 07th January: The 47th Battalion of the Border Security Force seized 8 Banarasi sarees, 40 bottles of cough syrup and 1 cattle from the Fulbari and Amrit areas near the Bangladesh border in Cooch Behar district. Based on a tip-off, the BSF personnel stationed at Border Outpost Fulbari and Amrit seized all the goods.
The seized goods were, later, deposited at the Sitalkuchi Police Outpost while the Banarasi Sarees were handed over to the Customs Office in Sitai.
