Rajganj, 14th August: A variety of programs were organized by the 176th Battalion of BSF on the Fulbari border in Rajganj as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav program to celebrate the nation’s 75th Independence Day.
Reportedly, a rally was taken out by the BSF Jawans with various schools and local residents of the area. The national flag was seen in the hands of the participants in the rally that began with the slogans ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. There was also a display of different weapons used by BSF in various wars. BSF officers greeted the Bangladesh border personnel by handing over packets of sweets.
In this regard, DIG NS Aujla of BSF Siliguri Division said that the said rally has been organized to showcase the importance of Independence Day and the National Flag to the coming future generations of the nation.
