Siliguri, 01st October: Professor Amitava Kanjilal, accused in the audio clip controversy, met the Siliguri College Investigation Committee today.
It is to recall, Amitava Kanjilal was caught demanding money from a student to help her obtain passing grades in the examinations through several telephonic conversations. A show-cause notice was also issued by the Siliguri College authorities in this regard.
Meanwhile, Kanjilal was called to the meeting of the Investigation Committee today. Although he was present at the meeting, he was reluctant to address the media.
On the other hand, after the meeting concluded, the committee addressed the media and stated that the next decision will be taken after submitting the report.
