Rajganj, 02nd January: Priyanka Roy, a seventh-grade student from Rajganj, has bagged first place in the National Kick Boxing Championship. Lauding her victory, Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy felicitated her on behalf of Trinamool Congress, on Sunday.
Priyanka Roy, daughter of Naujan Roy of Chandarbari village in Panikauri gram panchayat of Rajganj, actively participated in kickboxing since childhood. Despite belonging to an impoverished family, she was focused on her goal and eventually achieved success.
The Junior National Kickboxing Championship was held from December 21 to 25 in Pune. MLA Khageshwar Roy went to Priyanka’s house with the local TMC leaders. She was felicitated on behalf of the party and was also provided with some financial assistance.
