Siliguri, 14th May: Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, the city’s witnessing a severe blood shortage. In view of this, a blood donation camp was organized at Mahakal Pally Sporting Club, under the initiative of Priyajan Social Welfare.
On behalf of the organization, Arindam Sanyal said that they have organized the said blood donation camp in collaboration with the Terai Lions Blood Bank. The camp has a target of collecting 30 units of blood. The collected blood will be deposited in the blood bank of the Terai Lions.
