Phansidewa, 25th May: Commotion prevailed over the death of an employee of a private paper mill in Ghoshpukur. The deceased has been identified as Paritosh Singha.
According to the reports, this incident took place on Friday night at the Ghoshpukur paper mill in Phansidewa. The employee’s hand was trapped in the machinery while working during the night shift.
Upon encountering the incident, other employees rescued him and promptly transferred him to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH), where he passed away. The post-mortem of the body was conducted on Saturday.
Mill manager, Yugal Kishore highlighted that the accident happened while working. The police of Ghoshpukur Outpost of Phansidewa have started investigating the incident.
