Siliguri, 04th January: The police of Panitanki Out Post have finally arrested the prime accused who assaulted two people in Siliguri’s Ward No. 05. In 72 hours of the incident, the police of Panitanki Out Post have arrested two miscreants.
It is to be noted, that on January 02, Bikram Das and his accomplices assaulted two people in Ward No. 15 of Siliguri, violently bullying, which led the victims to suffer serious injuries. After which Bappi Banik, one of the victims of the said incident, filed a written complaint against the assaulter Bikram Das and his accomplices at Panitanki Out Post. After the complaint, while investigating the case, the police of the Panitanki Out Post arrested Vishwaroop Paul on January 3, produced him in the Siliguri court and took him on police remand for five days.
After this today, the police of Panitanki Out Post arrested the prime accused Bikram Das and produced him in the Siliguri court. According to the sources, it is learned that the police will also demand the remand of the prime accused from the Siliguri court.
