Siliguri, 04th September: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will arrive in North Bengal tomorrow for a 5-day tour.
It has been learned that the CM will reach Bagdogra Airport by a special flight from Kolkata Airport tomorrow. Following which, she will go to Uttarkanya and hold administrative meetings with officials of several districts. She is also scheduled to inaugurate several new projects and visit Duare Sarkar camps in Fulbari. Administrative preparations are in full swing surrounding the CM’s 5-day tour. Security has also been tightened in this regard.
On the first day of the visit, she will meet the administrative officials of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Alipurduar districts on September 6. On September 7 and 8, she will hold a meeting with the administrative officials of Jalpaiguri and Cooch Behar districts.
A helicopter has been arranged for the Chief Minister’s visit which will be kept at Bagdogra Airport. If necessary, she will fly to several places in North Bengal. Mamata Banerjee will return to Kolkata on September 9.
