Siliguri, 09th April: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a public meeting in Kawakhali tomorrow.
According to sources, the Prime Minister is likely to arrive around 12:05 pm tomorrow by helicopter. A helipad has been set up at Kawakhali. Preparations for this meeting have already been completed in Kawakhali. State and central leaders will be present on the stage. Assembly candidates from Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts are also expected to be present.
On the other hand, due to hot weather, a huge tent has been set up for the workers and supporters at the meeting place. BJP informed that there is a target to bring about 1 lakh workers and supporters. Preparations have also started in this concern. The BJP leaders have started visiting the venue since this morning. A helicopter trial run was also held today.
