Siliguri, 25th August: In a heart-warming gesture, Pradhan Namita Karati decided to celebrate her son’s birthday not by throwing a big party but by providing financial assistance to 14 meritorious higher Secondary and Madhyamik students at Bashundhara Block B Housing under Fulbari No. 1 Anchal.
On the other hand, Ranajoy Das, a teacher of Siliguri Boys High School, also joined the initiative and provided financial assistance to the students.
Various social events have been ruled out due to the ongoing pandemic, which is why Karati chose to celebrate her son’s birthday in a unique and charitable manner.
