Siliguri, 28th August: The Pradhan Nagar police station, under Siliguri Metropolitan Police, is likely to be shifted to a new permanent building inside Regulated Market, starting September.
As per the information, the Pradhan Nagar police station, which is currently situated on private land, will be shifted to a new building that has been constructed on a government land inside the Regulated Market.
According to police sources, State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate the new building on September 01.
Siliguri Metropolitan Police Commissioner Tripurari Arthav, DCP Dr Kunwar Bhushan Singh, and other senior police officials inspected the newly constructed police station today.
