Siliguri, 15th February: Based on a tip-off, the Pradhan Nagar Police, on Sunday night, launched operations at the Devidanga Sishabari area and arrested one person along with firearms. The arrested accused has been identified as Vikram Sibo, a resident of Devidanga.
A pistol and three rounds of fresh ammunition were recovered from his possession. He was produced at the Siliguri court today.
According to police sources, Vikram Sibo is said to have various past criminal records. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
