Siliguri, 16th October: The Pradhan Nagar Police arrested a youth on charges of stealing lottery tickets from a lottery shop. The arrested youth has been identified as Biki Balmiki, a resident of Tikiapara.
According to police sources, lottery tickets were stolen from a lottery shop in the area adjacent to the Junction on September 15. Following this, the shop owner lodged a complaint at the Pradhan Nagar police station the next day.
The arrested accused was produced before the Siliguri court today.
