Siliguri, 14th January: In a recent development, the Pradhan Nagar police launched an operation and arrested four individuals from a gambling den. The accused gamblers have been identified as Sagar Paswan, Sanjeet Kumar, Ranjit Sah, and Munna Kumar.
According to reports, acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid on Saturday night in the Siliguri Regulated Market under the jurisdiction of the police station. During this, the gamblers were caught red-handed and subsequently arrested. In addition, the officials recovered Rs 59,000 in cash from the gambling den. On Sunday, the arrested accused have been produced before the Siliguri Court.
