Rajganj, 19th August: Chaos ensued as a pickup van laden with potatoes lost control and overturned on the road, resulting in the injury of the driver. The unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday within the vicinity of Bakuabari, near Bandhunagar of Rajganj.
Reportedly, the pickup van was en route from Jalpaiguri towards Siliguri, carrying a load of potatoes. Abruptly, the vehicle lost its stability, leading to an overturning on the road in the Bakuabari area, close to Bandhunagar. The driver sustained injuries during the accident and was rushed to the Rajganj Rural Hospital with the assistance of local bystanders. Upon receiving the news, the Rajganj police arrived at the scene and retrieved the accident-stricken van.
