Siliguri, 03rd March: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, markets in various parts of Siliguri are flooded with diverse kinds of political merchandise, including masks, t-shirts, googles, badges, caps, etc. Reportedly, the goods are being brought from Gujarat.
Nalin Kumar Agarwal, a shop-owner in Mahabirsthan, stated that the demand for party flags, t-shirts, and emblems increases ahead of every Lok Sabha, assembly and municipal elections. He said that he has brought most of the items from Gujarat and is hopeful to do good business before the assembly election.
