Siliguri, 13th May: Despite repeated reminders to stay home, several people are still being sighted in different parts of Siliguri, deliberately breaching the lockdown restrictions.
In this regard, the Siliguri police, on Wednesday morning, launched operations in the Mahabirsthan area and seized several two-wheelers and e-rickshaws(toto) plying on the streets. The drivers have also been detained.
The police also stopped all the motorcycles, which carried more than one rider. The pillion riders were immediately asked to get off from the motorcycle and the riders were detained.
