Siliguri, 30th June: The Matigara Police have successfully recovered a stolen four-wheeler within 48 hours of it being reported missing. The vehicle, belonging to an individual identified as Kishor Kumar, was stolen from the Himachal Vihar area of Siliguri on June 27.
According to reports, Kishore Kumar had arrived at Siliguri for medical treatment and was staying at a guest house in Himachal Vihar with his family. Meanwhile, his vehicle, parked outside, was allegedly stolen. Subsequently, a complaint was lodged at the Matigara police station. Following this, the police conducted an investigation and managed to locate the stolen vehicle with the aid of the CCTV footage.
The authorities promptly recovered the vehicle from near an old SNT godown in the BBD Colony area and initiated a search for the thieves involved.
