Police intercept man with stolen vehicle in Noukaghat More Siliguri

25th September: The NJP Police have arrested a person with a stolen four-wheeler. The accused has been identified as Abhijeet Kundu. It is said that the police received a tip-off about Abhijeet Kundu who was on his way to Assam from Islampur with the intention of selling the stolen vehicle. Acting on the tip-off, the NJP police laid an ambush at Naukaghat More. As soon as the vehicle reached the said area, the police nabbed the man. The vehicle was then taken to the NJP police station after he failed to produce its valid documents. Today the accused has been produced in Jalpaiguri court.
