Siliguri, 15th May: The Pradhan Nagar police have successfully arrested four youths before they could commit a major criminal activity. The arrested accused have been identified as Umesh Chhetri, Sachin Thapa, Vikram Saibo, and Arvind Pradhan.
According to sources, while patrolling late on Tuesday night, the team of Pradhan Nagar police spotted a group of youths engaged in suspicious activities within an empty field in Dagapur. Subsequently, the police initiated an operation resulting in the successful arrest of the individuals.
Upon interrogation and search, several weapons were recovered from the suspects. Later, the four youths were presented before the Siliguri court on Wednesday. The police have initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
