Siliguri, 20th April: On Monday morning, Police Commissioner Tripurari Arthav and IC of Siliguri Police Station Sudip Chakraborty inspected the newly set up vegetable and fruit market in the Kanchanjunga Stadium premises.
Ward Councilor Nantu Pal stated that sheds will be constructed soon over all the shops to protect the vendors from rain and sun. Sanitizers will also be arranged for the customers to help them sanitize their hands before entering the market premises. The initiative has been highly praised by the District Magistrate (DM).
