Siliguri, 28th April: Three men charged with robbery have been arrested by the police in Siliguri. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Firoz, Guddu Das, and Ashok Gupta.
As per the reports, liquor worth lakhs were stolen from a liquor shop located in Sevoke Road under Bhaktinagar Police station on April 11.
Based on a tip-off, the police launched operations in various parts of the city and caught the accused individuals from the Durga Nagar colony, Paresh Nagar, and Khalpara area. A huge cache of liquor was recovered from their possession.
The arrested accused were produced before the Jalpaiguri court on Tuesday.
