Siliguri, 03rd May: Three men charged with robbery have been arrested by the police in Siliguri. The arrested accused have been identified as Sanu Pal, Sayan Roy, and Swapan Roy.
According to the information received, one month ago, journalist Sanjay Shah was heading towards Salugara in his motorcycle; when he parked his vehicle on the roadside to attend a phone call, three miscreants, on a scooty, snatched his bag and fled away.
The matter was then reported at the Bhakti Nagar police station. After one month of investigation, the police finally got hold of the accused individuals on Saturday night and arrested them. Stolen mobiles and other media equipments were recovered from their possession.
