Siliguri, 06th August: The Junction Traffic Police in Siliguri apprehended three imposters for swindling unsuspecting individuals across different locations in the city under the guise of superstition. The incident was reported in the Darjeeling More area of Siliguri.
On Tuesday, these imposters were spotted traveling towards a checkpoint from Darjeeling More, seated in an e-rickshaw. Alerted by Traffic Sub-Inspector Titu Saha, the police intercepted and captured them near Circuit House. The incident was promptly reported to Pradhan Nagar Police Station. Local residents informed authorities that these criminals were threatening the people using superstition to extort money from them.
Currently, the police have taken all three imposters into custody and initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
