Good Friday is a Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary. It is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday.
On the auspicious occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to remind the nation how Jesus Christ devoted his life to serve others.
“Lord Christ devoted his life to serving others. His courage and righteousness stand out and so does his sense of justice. On Good Friday, we remember Lord Christ and his commitment to truth, service and justice,” the PM wrote on Twitter.
