Alipurduar, 13th September: A pickup van carrying a load of brinjal overturned after losing control, leaving two people injured. The incident occurred on Thursday night near the Tasati football ground in the Falakata block.
According to local sources, the vehicle was transporting brinjal from Banarhat in Jalpaiguri district to Falakata Market.
During this, the van lost control and overturned near the football ground of Tasati Tea Estate in the Falakata block, injuring both occupants.
Police from the Jateswar Outpost arrived at the scene after receiving the report. The injured were rescued and taken to the hospital. An investigation into the incident is underway.
