Siliguri, 11th May: In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, the Phansidewa block BDO Sanju Guha Majumder, with the assistance of his wife Suparna Sarkar, distributed cooked meals among the on-duty police officials and the pedestrians in the Phansidewa area.
In this context, Majumder stated that he adopted such an initiative after being inspired by the selfless work being done by social activist Bapan Das for the past one month.
On the other hand, Bidhannagar Welfare Society owner Bapan Das highly praised the initiative taken by the BDO.
