Siliguri, 28th March: People of Siliguri are celebrating the auspicious occasion of Holi with much zeal and enthusiasm since morning.
People consider this festival of colours as a time to ignite the light of God within one and embrace all with love, empathy and generosity of spirit. All past grievances are forgiven and forgotten and people inspire new hope in their hearts.
It is to recall, the celebration was cancelled the previous year due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. However, this year, several cultural programmes have been organized across the city following the COVID-19 guidelines.
