Siliguri, 02nd May: Despite repeated reminders to stay home and not to come out on the streets unnecessarily, there have been several complaints of people gathering at various corners around Siliguri deliberately violating the lockdown.
As per the report, a huge crowd was spotted, this morning, in the Siliguri Haiderpara area. Despite being urged several times, people were seen breaching the lockdown protocols. Several e-rickshaws (Toto), autos, and two-wheelers were also sighted on the streets today.
The State government on Monday classified Darjeeling District as Orange Zone, while the Central, on Friday, re-classified it as a Red Zone.
