Rajganj, 03rd May: Despite repeated reminders to stay at home, several people are still being sighted deliberately breaching the lockdown restrictions.
As per the report, a crowd of people, on Sunday, were spotted buying commodities in Shikarpur market area without maintaining social distance.
To prevent crowding, the administration had earlier decided to keep the market open for 5 days excluding Wednesday and Saturday. However, people are still seen crowding the area on a regular basis. Although the administration held a meeting with the Haat Committee regarding the issue, no solution could be figured out yet.
On the other hand, media representatives complained that they often are obstructed by the public while covering the lockdown situation in the said area. The entire incident further raises questions on the role of the police administration.
